School Annual Trekking Programme
The Ayesha Ali Academy organized two-day trekking camping Programme from 03 Sep - 04 Sep, 2022 at Chiranbal Noorabad which was jointly organized by the Department of Physical Education and the Administration of the school.
About 50+ students from different grades participated in the programme along with their teachers.
The students were accompanied by I/C Sports Department, Mr. Sajad Shah, Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, Asif Hussain, Irshad Ahmad , Mudasir Ahmad Lone and Rameez Raja. Additionally, among the non-teaching staff, Nisar Ahmad Lone, Hargun Mehraj, Samiullah and Liyaqat Hassan Rather provided necessary assistance during the programme.
On the first day, students did a light warm-up trek to Chiranbal from Manzgam which acted as the base camp for all two days. The trek was completed in 4 hours. The day concluded with multiple cultural activities carried around a campfire.
Similarly, on the second day, the participants did a trek to Chiranbal Mountains. In order to boost the morale of the staff as well as students, Mr Sajad Ahmad Shah, worthy I/C Sports Dept of the school joined the participants and encouraged them to keep their spirits high. He spoke about the importance of such events which act as stress busters amidst the tough covid times.
Later in the evening, students were engaged in pitching tents on a camping site and the day concluded with a campfire and cultural activities where students participated in the singing competition, poetry recitation and other such programmes.
Students of school undertook a cleanliness drive of parts of Chiranbal which encouraged others to maintain cleanliness in the beautiful meadows.
By evening all the students had safely reached their respective homes thus concluding the eventful and exciting in many ways the annual camping and trekking programme of the school.
