Martial arts (WUSHU) champions of AAA

Wushu is a Chinese martial art combination of kick, punch, and throw beneficial for self-defense and body fitness.

Students of grades 1st & 2nd brought laurels to the Academy by winning 50 medals, including 22 gold medals, 12 Silver medals and 16 bronze, in the  District Wushu Championship held at indoor stadium Qaimoh Khudwani. The championship was organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Wushu Association.

Around 400 students from 06 zones of the district  kulgam took part in the championship. 

The headmistress of AAA said ''The success of the students is heart warming".  

Speaking on this occasion Mr G N Nayyir lauded the efforts of the players  for this achievement. Further he said, "Youth facing any kind of depression must join sports as it will help them to remain mentally fit and will keep them away from social evils".
